Laurel Gloria Baptiste was born on 17 October 1994 at St Georges Hospital, Tooting. She weighted 7lbs 13ozs and had the brightest eyes ever.
Laurel wanted to be an actress and also a nurse, helping others. On her end of term report at stage school her teacher’s remark was ‘Laurel deserves the praises she has received. She is a pleasure to teach, she works hard and achieves well. She is funny and generous and works well with groups and individuals’.
Laurel was a leader, everyone loved and followed her and she left her mark wherever she went. At family gatherings she was a born entertainer, she was funny, loving, bubbly, talkative, kind and a very special person to her family and friends. She leaves behind two elder brothers, Darren and Damien and her sister Lianne, who all adored her.
Laurel passed away suddenly on 25 April 2007 leaving her family devastated and bewildered.
